During the NFL Super Bowl, held this year in Santa Clara, California, Cadillac showcased for the first time the official colors that will adorn the car in its debut season in Formula 1.

The presentation took place during a television commercial, leveraging maximum media visibility and highlighting the American manufacturer’s desire to enter F1 with a strong and recognizable identity.

The livery reveal represents the latest major milestone in the journey toward Cadillac’s first season in Formula 1, scheduled for 2026.

The American team is working intensely to build solid foundations from both a technical and organizational perspective, with the goal of being competitive from its first year in the Circus.

Barcelona Shakedown: First Kilometers for Bottas and Perez

Official drivers Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez took the new car to the track during the Barcelona shakedown, the project’s first real operational test.

For the occasion, the car sported a special livery that included the names of the team’s founding members, hailing from both the United States and the United Kingdom, highlighting the team’s international character.

At the end of the day, Valtteri Bottas commented positively on the work done by the team: “It was truly valuable. Everyone is working hard and I am very proud of it.” The Finnish driver added: “We still have many problems to solve and a mountain to climb, but we are improving step by step. With every run, we become more united as a team and resolve new issues.”

Sergio Perez also drew an encouraging balance after the shakedown at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya: “We completed many laps and gathered a lot of information. Finding problems is positive: it’s exactly why we are here.” The Mexican driver highlighted the progress run after run: “We are starting to explore the car, the setup, and the development directions. I would say the start was really good.”
