The most significant changes in this 2025 Formula 1 season are mainly these:
- Lewis Hamilton left Mercedes after a long career with the German team to join Ferrari, fulfilling his dream of racing for the Maranello team.
- Andrea Kimi Antonelli, an 18-year-old Italian talent, made his Formula 1 debut with Mercedes, taking the seat previously occupied by Hamilton.
